Our Car Servicing Includes

Every service we do covers the essentials your car needs to stay in top condition:

  • Oil and Filter Change – Fresh oil and a new filter keep your engine running smoothly and protect it from wear.
  • Fluid Check and Top-Up – We check and top up brake fluid, coolant, power steering fluid, windscreen washer and transmission fluid.
  • Visual Safety Inspection – We check your brakes, tyres, lights, wipers, suspension, steering, exhaust and battery.
  • Filter Inspection – We check your air filter and cabin filter, replacing them if needed.
  • Under-Bonnet Check – Inspection of belts, hoses and other components for wear or damage.
  • Test Drive – We take your car for a drive to check for any unusual noises, vibrations or performance issues.

Depending on your vehicle and the service level, we may also include additional checks and adjustments. We’ll always let you know if we find anything that needs attention.

AutoCare doing a engine flushWhen Does Your Car Need Servicing?

Most manufacturers recommend servicing every 10,000 to 15,000 kilometres or every 12 months, whichever comes first. However, this can vary depending on your vehicle and how you drive it.

Check your owner’s manual for the specific service schedule for your car. If you’ve lost the manual, give us a call and we can look up the recommended intervals for your make and model.

Signs Your Car Needs a Service

Between scheduled services, watch out for these warning signs:

  • Your service light or warning lights are on. If your dashboard is trying to tell you something, it’s worth getting it checked.
  • The engine is running rough or lacking power. This could indicate worn spark plugs, dirty filters or other issues.
  • You’re using more fuel than usual. Poor fuel economy often means your engine isn’t running efficiently.
  • Oil looks dark and dirty. Clean oil is amber coloured. If it’s black and gritty, it’s time for a change.
  • Strange noises or vibrations. Unusual sounds or shaking while driving could indicate worn components.
  • It’s been more than a year since your last service. Even if you haven’t driven much, oil and fluids degrade over time.
